Obituary: On February 27, 2013, Samuel R. Osborne beloved husband of the late Jetta Mae Osborne; devoted father of Scott R. Osborne and wife Margaret and Kim A. Berk and husband Konrad; cherished grandfather of Alexis and Zachary; dear brother of Thelma McMillan.

| Pam (McMillan) Plunkett | Dear Kim,Scott and extended family, Saddened to hear the news of Uncle Sam's passing. I know he will be truly missed by all. Only have met him briefly at the family reunions.,but realised then he must have been a very loving,caring,and kind soulof a man. He demonstrated concern and a gentle spirit. He even took time out to play with my then 5 y/0 grandson, which earned him the nickname of that "Gorton fisherman".,d/t his kind face under the white beard. As I told you on the phone, Scott., I know mom,(Thelma), will miss him..I will be hearing more stories of them as they were growing up.She always referred to him as the "intelligent" one. Be assured God will give you comfort in the days ahead. Love to all, Pam |
