Doris Jacoby Obituary

Doris Loretta Jacoby, age 96, of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away peacefully on February 19, 2021.

She was the exquisite and beloved matriarch of a family that included two children, Kathryn Fitzgerald of Burtonsville, MD and Randall Jacoby of Bristol Virginia, as well as 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Though born in the early 20th century on Feb. 17, 1925, Doris was truly a 21st century woman. Doris was a sharp, compassionate, and strong woman with a thirst for life. She is and will continue to be an inspiration to family and friends.

With a life encompassing almost a century, it is impossible to catalog all her achievements and experiences, except to summarize Doris as a remarkable human being who will be missed by every life she has ever touched.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Walter H. Jacoby.
