Bette Aring Obituary

Bette R. Aring, 96 years old, of Ellicott City, MD passed away on April 30, 2019. Bette was born December 31, 1922, to Vincent and Elizabeth Russo of Baltimore. She graduated from Forest Park High School c. 1940. In 1949 she married Walter J. Aring, Jr. After serving as a dedicated mother raising her two children, Janis and Wayne, Bette had a 20-year career as a medical receptionist and a secretary. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Walt, in 1999. Bette is survived by her daughter Janis and her husband Bill Lester; and her son Wayne Aring and his wife Sandy. Bette was also proud of her grandchildren Michael, David, Amy, and Greg, and her great-grandchildren Raiden and Mason. She is also survived by her sister, Janis Gilbert. Funeral arrangements are private.
