Donald Blaine Cober

Donald B. Cober, 77, passed away on March 13, 2018. Born May 5, 1940 in Easton, MD, he was the son of the late Jay and Ada Cober. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Shipley) Cober for 50 years.

Donald graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agronomy. He worked for the State Highway Administration for 42 years and was actively involved in his church community. He enjoyed caring for the family farm, exploring the Chesapeake Bay on his boat and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife is daughter and son-in-law Carrie and Kevin Layman of Eldersburg, grandchildren Allison and Kyle and sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Mace Miller. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
