Earle Nicholas Knott

Earle Nicholas Knott went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 28th 2018. He is preceded in death by his father (Earl Sr.), mother (Clara Bean), sisters Mary (Warren) Capenos, and Eloise (Windborne) Britt. His is survived by his wife Wanda (Coffman) of 68 years, his three daughters Laura (William) Grimes, Denise (Beth Cox) Knott, Penny (Tosh) Keune, three grandson Patrick (Vera) Grimes, Nicholas Keune, Nash Keune and two great-grandchildren Josephine Grimes and Damon Grimes. Earle retired from the Federal Government in 1983 having completed 37 years of service beginning with the US Marine Corps as part of the occupational forces in WWII, and many years of distinguished years of service for the National Security Agency. Earle was a proud member of Allegany’s Class of ’46 and an active member of Bethel Baptist church where he had served as a deacon, youth leader, and recently had been an active member of the Primetimers.
