Elizabeth K. Siani

Elizabeth K. Siani, age 99, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at her home in Columbia, MD, surrounded by her family. Born on August 13, 1919 in Forty Fort, PA to the late Stanley Krzywicki and Helen Bogudzewska Krzywicki. Elizabeth left home to work for several years in Washington D.C. for the Veterans Administration during World War II.

Returning to Forty Fort after the war, Elizabeth married the late Anthony J. Siani from Wilkes Barre, PA. and had 2 sons, the late Paul J. Siani and Mark A. Siani. Throughout the marriage, the family moved several times from Pennsylvania to Maryland to Germany for 2 years, finally settling in Columbia, MD in 1971.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Mark A. Siani, his wife Ochgerel Siani and their daughter Marika A. Siani; grandchildren, Steven J. Siani and Rachael E. Siani; great -grandchildren, Anthony J. Siani and Paul J. Siani and her brother, Francis Krzywicki of Landenberg, PA. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul J. Siani, brother, Stanley Krzywicki, and sisters Florence Kuntz and Marianna Bond.

Elizabeth was a strong, determined and compassionate homemaker and family matriarch, who touched the hearts and lives of many. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in the name of Elizabeth K. Siani to the Disabled American Veterans.
