On February 19, 2018, EVA LIPES WRIGHT, beloved wife of the late Jack E. Lipes and the late Burnette W. Wright; cherished mother of Susan D. Martens (David); devoted grandmother of Eric, Kirsten (Forrest), Ingrid (Jeremy), and Karl (Beth); adoring great-grandmother of Jackson, Lorena, Virginia, Karl II, Louis, and Kaeden; loving sister of Peter (Edith) and Ursula (Whayne); dear aunt of Tanya, Jaime, Gretchen, and David. Also survived by many loving family and friends.
Eva was born in Sri Lanka, India. She met her first husband, Jack, in Germany and moved to the United States in 1955. She lived in many different places including Switzerland, Ireland, France, and Central America. She was also fluent in Spanish, French and German. Known for her artistic talents, Eva is remembered fondly as being an excellent cook, a good writer, a great seamstress, and for her wonderful sense of humor. She adored the color pink and roses could always brighten her day. She will be greatly missed by her family, but she is now at peace with both of her late husbands, Jack and Burnette, and her parents.
