John Brown Bell, Jr.

John Brown Bell, Jr., a resident of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Howard County General Hospital.  He was 69.  He was born on July 7, 1948 in Florida to the late John Brown Bell, Sr. and Artena Maddie Bell.  He graduated from Virginia Tech, class of 1970 with a Bachelors degree in History.  He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the State Department after many years.  John enjoyed American Civil War History and building model trains and airplanes.
