Joyce Elaine Bennett

Joyce Elaine Bennett, of Columbia, MD, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 14, 2018. She was born July 30,1935 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of Carl & Cora Bennett. Her careers have included working as a Psychiatric Nurse with children with intellectual & developmental disabilities; a Dental Assistant; and an Apartment Manager. After retiring in the late 90’s, she became adept at using a computer and became the source for creating  & maintaining the community newsletter, filled with recipes, birthdays, and other notes of interest. 

She was preceded in death by her mother & father, and sister, Gloria Bennett. She is survived by her sister, Dianne Nelson; four sons, Kyle Boone, Richard Gordon, Christian Williams & wife, Eileen, and Leslie Williams. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces  & nephews, and other friends & family.
