Kathryn F. Vaile

On October 29, 2017, Kathryn Frances Vaile, 92, of Catonsville, MD, died from complications related to diabetes. Kathryn was born on December 30, 1924 to the late Ernest and Lorraine Youngmark, in Dixon, Illinois. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Vaile. Kathryn was a graduate of Dixon High School where she met her future husband, Don. She was a cherished homemaker and loving mother of seven children, Susan Chiodi of Ellicott City, Amy Ackerman of Mt. Washington, Laura Baldwin (deceased), Ernie Vaile of Baltimore, Donald Vaile of Milwaukee, WI, Jenny Tyler of Coweta, OK, Kathy Rosner (deceased), twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is survived by her twin sister, Charlotte Zuend of Dixon, IL. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Don and David Youngmark. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM for family on Saturday, November 11th at Harry H. Witzke’s Funeral Home, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice Care at www.gilchristcares.org.
