Valerie Carol Miller

On June 24, 2019, Valerie Carol Miller of Ellicott City passed away peacefully.   She was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Nelson and Lillie Rodey, but resided most of her life in Howard County, MD.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Leonard Miller of Ellicott City, MD and her sister, June Clarke of Fort Meyers, FL.  Mrs. Miller is also survived by 2 long-time friends of 55 years, Rose Sawyer and Sue Thompson, and good friend, Robert Palmer, who became like a son to the Mr. and Mrs. Miller. 

Valerie was a fun loving person, with a kind heart. She enjoyed helping others and was particularly fond of animals.  She had a herb garden and was a member of the Howard County Garden Club for many years.  She traveled to Florida each year, spending 4 months there during the winter. 

All services are private.
