Violet V. “Jean” Goodmuth, a resident of Ellicott City, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 surrounded by her family. She was 85.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Louis W. Goodmuth, Jr.; loving children Louis W. Goodmuth, III of Ellicott City, Denise A. Waszak (Mike) of Navasota, TX, and Diane E. Worley (Bob) of Woodstock, MD; caring sister-in-law of Jim McDermott (Joy) of Lansdown, MD and sister of Pat Gosselin (Paul) of Chesterfield, VA. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Chris Waszak (Shannon) of Hedgesville, WVA and Brandon Waszak (Kathryn) of Navasota, TX.
Jean was a school bus driver, secretary at NSA and the Department of Agriculture, and volunteered at St. Benedict Church; and above all else she was a loving mother and wife who always put family first.
The family would like to thank the staff at Copper Ridge for the wonderful care of Jean.
