William Cecil Weeks, Jr.

William Cecil Weeks, Jr., 73, of Columbia, Maryland, passed away Wednesday, June 27th, 2018. He was born October 24th, 1944, to William C. Weeks, Sr., and Lois Ausley Weeks in Hialeah, Florida. He graduated from Hialeah High School and earned a college degree in Electrical Engineering in South Florida. He was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Westminster, South Carolina. He retired from BellSouth with more than 35 years of service. He was also a reserve police officer for over a decade in the Miami-Dade Police Department in South Florida. He loved to build things, renovate the house, go boating and hiking, and spend time with his family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Michael Weeks and Wade Weeks, his grandchildren, Nathan and Katie, and his sister and brother, Joanne Ridgeway and Glen Weeks. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Glenda Kay Weeks.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 18 @ 10am at Hopewell United Methodist Church, Methodist Drive & Jenkins Bridge Road, Westminster, SC 29693.
