Albert Michel Ehrhardt, known to friends and family as Pete, passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 11, 2023, in Baltimore, Maryland. Born on July 28, 1932, in Washington, D.C., Pete lived a life full of love, selflessness, and thoughtfulness, qualities that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Pete is survived by his devoted wife, Jane Ehrhardt, and their loving children, Micki McCarl, Michael Ehrhardt, Robert Ehrhardt, and David Ehrhardt. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Ehrhardt. Pete's memory will also be cherished by his 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

After completing his education at the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Pete dedicated 43 years of his life to the National Security Agency, where he made significant contributions and built strong relationships with his colleagues. Pete's work ethic and commitment to his profession were admired by all who knew him.

Outside of work, Pete was an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching baseball and football games. He was an active member of his community, volunteering as an umpire for local games, and was always eager to lend a helping hand to those in need. In his youth, Pete could often be found pulling a wagon and delivering newspapers, a testament to his strong work ethic and desire to support his family.

Pete's love for sports extended to bowling, where he was an enthusiastic participant and made many lasting friendships. His passion for the game was infectious, and his skill on the lanes was admired by many.

In his downtime, Pete enjoyed watching television and spending time with his family and friends. His warm and welcoming presence made gatherings at the Ehrhardt home a cherished memory for all who had the pleasure of attending.

Throughout his life, Pete was always ready to help others, demonstrating a selflessness that touched the lives of countless individuals. His thoughtful nature and genuine concern for the well-being of those around him made him a beloved figure in his community.

Pete's loving and selfless spirit will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the good fortune to know him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he left behind, and his legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire future generations.
