Ann Rogers Obituary

Ann Elizabeth Rogers (Cugle) passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, at the age of 76. She was born on January 13, 1949, to Mary Anna and Clement Cugle. She lived a life filled with curiosity, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the world around her.

Ann was a devoted and beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by daughter Eleanor Rogers, son-in-law Gregory Taylor, daughter Hannah Rogers, son Samuel Rogers, and daughter-in-law Danielle Rogers. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Amelia Mary Taylor and Matthew Dana Taylor, her sister Gemma Tavenner, and her brother-in-law Joe Tavenner. Her former husband, Edward Rogers, with whom she built a family and shared many years, also survives her. Ann was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Clement Cugle.

Ann had an adventurous spirit and a love of learning. She was open-hearted, always looking forward to new experiences and friendships, and she shared her enthusiasm for life generously with others, always with a mind to help and encourage. Throughout her life, Ann found joy in others, in her garden, and in her travels, as well as the community of her meditation group, which shared a practice that inspired and sustained the spiritual work that was so central to how she lived her life.

Though Ann was rarely in the limelight, she left a profound impact on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Her strength, generosity, and contagious spirit will be remembered by all.
