ANNA MARIE CONRAD, passed peacefully on April 27, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late John Henry Conrad; devoted mother of Sue Cross (Rick), David Conrad (Kittima), Mary Conrad, and Amy Conrad (Mike Chirozzi); loving grandmother of Amanda (Andrew), Keri (Seth), Benjamin, Emily, and Grace; adoring great-grandmother of Banks and Parker.
Anna was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and grew up in New York, where she attended Jamaica High School. Following high school, she went onto to study at the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. Upon graduation, she moved to Washington D.C. and obtained a job with the government. While living in D.C., she met and married Jack, who was her loving husband of 58 years. After raising four children, she returned to school and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in history and art history, graduating with honors. She then went on to work as a docent at the Baltimore Museum of Art, where she shared her love of art with many.
Throughout her life, she was a lifelong learner. She loved to travel, garden, paint, crochet, and play bridge with her friends. Her strong Catholic faith led her to work continuously in the service of others, donating her time and talents to both the church and those in need.
A Memorial Service is planned for a later date.
