On Sunday, March 17, 2024, Anthony “Tony” J. Buck, our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, went to his heavenly home while in the kind and loving care of his family in Ellicott City, MD after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on November 22, 1971, in Baltimore, MD to William Buck and Barbara Sullivan. Tony graduated from Carroll County High School with the class of 1989.
In 1977 at the age of 6 Tony was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. This was the first of several bouts of cancer which Tony was to face during his lifetime. Tony experienced many challenges during his life due to his early brain tumor and radiation treatments. Through it all, Tony maintained a gentle and humble spirit.
Tony managed to work for 16 years as a courier/mailroom/copier specialist on several contracts for Ricoh USA. Inc. While working as a mail clerk at a law firm, several of the staff commissioned Tony to create hand drawn portraits of their family members based on photographs.
Tony lived with his mother Barbara in Reisterstown, MD where he enjoyed putting together models, playing video games, watching movies, and playing with his nephews. He was especially blessed with the ability to draw.
Tony is survived by his mother, Barbara Sullivan; father, William Buck (Nancy); sisters Sheri O’Donnell (Nathan), Jennifer Buck (Vince Angel), Brittany Stewart (Matthew), and Natalie Fefel (John); nephews and nieces, Shane O’Donnell, Shaun O’Donnell, Jordan Mullen, Gino Angel, TJ Novak. Elaina Fefel, Jameson Fefel, and Jackson Fefel.
We know that Tony is now at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in his heavenly home, not because of anything he did in this life, but because he made a profession of faith on the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Titus 3:5-7, Isaiah 53:5 For those of us who have trusted Christ as Savior, Tony “we love you”, you were certainly a soldier for Christ, and we know we will see you again. 2 Timothy 4:6-8, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
