B. Keith Wagner
December 6, 1971 ~ January 29, 2024 (age 52) 52 Years Old
B. Keith Wagner died on January 29, 2024. He was born December 6, 1971 in Tacoma Park, Maryland and spent most of his childhood living in Howard County with a few early years living in London, England. He played many youth sports including several years of varsity football and baseball at Atholton High School in Columbia. He also enjoyed playing the piano and was active in his church’s youth group program. Keith excelled academically and went on to earn a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. At Virginia Tech, he was an active member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity and served as an officer during his senior year. Keith also earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins with a perfect 4.0 GPA. For most of his career, he worked in Information Technology for the Department of Defense focused on data networking technology.
Keith was a devoted husband to Debbie to whom he was married for over 25 years and an incredible dad to Chris and Lauren. He loved spending time with his family, golfing, and working in his back yard tending to his plants, trees, and gardens. He was a long-time loyal fan of Virginia Tech football, the Baltimore Orioles, and the Washington Commanders. He was fortunate enough to travel extensively to National Parks with his family over summer vacations and traveled internationally with his work.
He is survived by his wife Debbie Wagner, son Christopher Wagner, daughter Lauren Wagner, parents Brian and Linda Wagner, sister Denise Facto (Jeff Facto, Michael Facto, Patrick Facto), parents-in-law Paul and Frankie Miller, and sister-in-law Ellen Medlock (Allison Medlock).
A funeral service will be held at the First Lutheran Church at 3604 Chatham Road, Ellicott City MD 21042 on Saturday, February 10th at 10:30 AM.
