Barbara Brennan died on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland.
She was born in Yonkers, New York, the daughter of John and Mary Brennan and is survived by her brother Matthew and her sister Virginia.
Barbara moved to Baltimore at age 4 and graduated from Archbishop Keough High School with the class of 1970 and went on to become a Baltimore City Police Sergeant.
Barbara is survived by her sons Ken and Brice Weeks; daughters-in-law Jill and Kristin; grandchildren Cassidy, Cameron, Lincoln, Carly and Whitney Weeks; as well as beloved nieces and nephews.
Barbara will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her upbeat and enthusiastic personality, her down-to-earth nature, her love of animals, her joy in being “Grammy” to her five grandchildren and her years of service on the police force.
Family will receive friends at the Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home, 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Joseph's Monastery Parish on Thursday, June 23, 2022, beginning at 10 am. Interment following in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
