Blanchette White Obituary

Blanchette Garnier Eliezer White, affectionately known as Blanche to her family and friends, passed away surrounded by loved ones on April 4, 2025, in Pasadena, Maryland. Born on June 28, 1933, in New Jersey, Blanche lived a vibrant and faith-filled life for 91 years.

Blanche was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas White and a cherished sister to the late Lois Hill. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Ruth Markowski and Jeannette Yard, and a loving mother-in-law to Dan Markowski. Blanche's joy was multiplied as a grandmother to Nick Markowski and his wife Blerta, as well as Allison Markowski, whose lives she enriched with her spirited energy and unfailing humor.

Blanche's academic journey culminated in a Bachelor of Science from Bloomfield College and Seminary, which springboarded her into a career as a secretary for a medical supplies purchasing agent before she decided to stay home full-time to raise her family. Her professionalism and dedication in her work were mirrored by her commitment to her community, where she was a respected and active member.

A woman of many talents and interests, Blanche brought music and joy to those around her, playing the piano and singing in the church choir with a passion that touched the hearts of many. Her love for sewing created not just garments but also lasting memories for her family, who will remember her nimble fingers and creative spirit. Blanche's adventurous soul led her to travel, exploring new places and cultures, which were memorialized through her many captivating photos.

Blanche's faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through triumphs and trials with grace. Her spirit was a beacon that drew people to her, whether they sought comfort, laughter, or wisdom.

Her family will remember Blanche as the matriarch who led with strength and love, and friends will recall her as a spirited and outgoing person, who enjoyed the fellowship of those around her. Blanche's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a deep-seated faith that will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Blanchette Garnier Eliezer White's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the impact one person can have on the world around them. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
