Carol A. Diegelman

Carol Ann Diegelman, known lovingly to family and friends as Carol, passed away on June 19, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland, at the age of 81.

Born on March 18, 1945, in Baltimore, Maryland, Carol lived her life with warmth, grace, and a steadfast devotion to the people she loved. She was a lifelong resident of the Baltimore area, where she built a life centered on family, faith, and service to others. Her gentle spirit and kind presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Carol studied nursing and went on to serve as a psychiatric nurse, a profession that reflected both her compassion and her strength. In her work, she offered care, understanding, and dignity to others during some of their most difficult moments. She approached her responsibilities with patience and empathy, and her dedication to helping others was evident throughout her career. Her calm manner and sincere concern for people made her a trusted and comforting presence.

Above all else, Carol was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Diegelman; her daughter, Susan Cinquegrane (Paul Cinquegrane); her son, Paul Diegelman (Elizabeth Diegelman); and her daughter, Ann Marie Glinowiecki (Neale Glinowiecki). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Katherine Diegelman, Caroline Diegelman, Marie Cinquegrane, Mark Cinquegrane, and Marcelia Glinowiecki. Carol treasured each member of her family deeply, and her love for them was unwavering. She found great joy in gathering with her loved ones, celebrating milestones, and being present for the moments that mattered most.

Carol’s faith was an important part of her life. As a Catholic, she carried herself with a quiet strength and a spirit of kindness that reflected her beliefs. Her faith offered her comfort and guidance, and it was evident in the way she treated others with patience, generosity, and respect. She lived her life with a sense of purpose and a deep appreciation for the blessings of family and friendship.

In her personal life, Carol enjoyed traveling, and she embraced the opportunity to see new places and experience the world beyond her own doorstep. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, whose company brought her great happiness and pride. Their laughter and presence were among the greatest joys in her life. Carol also appreciated fine wine and the simple pleasures of sharing good conversation and meaningful time with those she loved.

Carol will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the compassion she showed in both her personal and professional life. She had a way of making others feel welcome and cared for, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy is one of kindness, service, and enduring love.

She is deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Though her passing leaves a profound emptiness, her life stands as a beautiful testament to the strength of love, the importance of family, and the comfort of a life well lived.
