Charles Oliver Hoffman

On January 11, 2021 Charles Oliver Hoffman, 89, passed after a brief illness at the Oakwood Care Center.  

Mr. Hoffman was born in Baltimore, MD to the late George and Goldie Hoffman.  He proudly served 4 years in the US Navy, after which he completed his education at Johns Hopkins University. During his career, he traveled extensively around the world, visiting many countries.  After retirement he enjoyed playing bridge and chess weekly.  

Mr. Hoffman was preceded in death by his wife, Gerri Hoffman.  He is survived by his children and their spouses, Mark and Debbie Hoffman, Kurt and Trema Hoffman and Eric and Regina Hoffman; his grandchildren, Billy Hoffman, Kerri Hoffman, Tara and Jeremy Self, Jordan Hoffman, Chelsea Hoffman, Kurisha Hoffman and Aileen Singleton. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the National Huntington Disease Society of America.
