Christopher Donald Howard

With a heavy heart, we share the news of the passing of Christopher Donald Howard –our beloved son, father, brother, and grandfather.

Chris was born January 5th, 1964, in Prince Georges County, Maryland and died May 8th, 2025, from complications arising from cancer.

After graduating from Howard High School, Chris attended Howard Community College and later joined the Air Force, serving his country and traveling the world. He moved back to Maryland in 1988 to be closer to family and remained in the Air Force reserves until 2005.

Chris was a kindhearted man who loved family and friends—he was most proud of his amazing children Samantha and Seth.

Chris lived in the moment and faced life's challenges with resilience and optimism. He was a skilled billiards player, avid fan of the Redskins, Orioles, Ravens, and the Caps. He had a lifetime passion for classic rock and concerts.

Chris is survived by his daughter Samantha Howard Roberts and son-in-law Andrew Roberts, grandchildren George and Amelia Roberts, son Seth Howard and grandson Oliver Howard; parents Erle and Sharon Howard; brother Erle Howard III and sister-in-law Jennifer Davis Howard, sister Cherie Howard McGovern and brother-in-law Michael McGovern and several nieces and nephews.

Chris’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

The family will have a private burial ceremony at a date to be determined.
