Christopher Kent Miles

It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of our beloved Christopher Kent Miles. He passed away peacefully on January 22, 2020, with his family by his side at University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. He was 54 years old.

Chris is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dawn; his three children, Meagan, Chris, and Brandon; his grandson, Dimitri; his son in law, Steve Pigiaditis; his brothers, Leonard and David Miles; and his aunt, Maxine Tatum. He is preceded in death by his mother, Leona Joyce House. And his brother Keith Miles.

Chris was a devoted father. The love that he had for his family is what kept his spirits high in the midst of all his constant medical battles which is what eventually took his life. Chris was an avid muscle car enthusiast as well. Everyone who knew him could attest to that! He was a dedicated Christian. Chris would spread God‘s word as often as he could. We are all deeply saddened by his passing. But are comforted by knowing that he is in heaven and no longer suffering.

We will be having closed casket visitations per Christopher‘s request. He also mentioned in lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to the family.
