Cindy L. Clinton

Cindy Lynne Clinton, age 57, of Ellicott City, Maryland passed away on March 8, 2021 at her home.  Born in Havre de Grace, Harford County Maryland, she was the daughter of Catherine Virginia (Starcher) Mateer and Franklin Delano Clinton.  She attended Bel Air High School and the Towson University majoring in Computers.  She was a Computer Systems Analyst for the Social Security Administration until 2004 where she met her future husband Alfonse Joseph Celentano.  They were married in 2008.  Cindy was an avid reader but especially enjoyed reading and writing poetry; she was an associate member of the Academy of American Poets.  She also enjoyed quilting, gardening, and music.

Cindy is survived by her brother-in-law John B. Ruhl of Forest Hill, her niece Charlotte E. Ruhl of Forest Hill and her nephew John B. Ruhl Jr. of Forest Hill.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Sherrie C. Ruhl, and her stepfather Cecil George Mateer.  Per her request, her body is to be cremated and her ashes and her husband’s ashes will be scattered.
