Cindyanne Thomas passed away peacefully on February 16, 2025, at age 84. She was the beloved wife of Harris (known affectionately as “Tom”), who preceded her in death. They enjoyed a 63-year marriage with four children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Cindyanne spent her early years in New York City, studying ballet and attending Miss Chapin’s School for Girls. She moved to Amherst, Massachusetts, where she attended the University of Massachusetts, met Tom, started a family, and worked at the Chamber of Commerce and as a sportswriter. She ran a daycare center for 30 years, helping to lovingly raise more than 100 children. She and Tom retired to Maryland. Cindyanne was a long-time member of Glen Mar Church, a Stephen minister, and a Bible Study leader. She loved people, shopping, and reading. Her quick smiles and zest for life will be missed. The burial service will be private. A celebration of her life will be held at Glen Mar Church in Ellicott City on February 21, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
