Dale Margaret Cahill

Dale Margret Cahill died unexpectedly of a rare autoimmune disease on Sunday March 22, 2020 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. She was the loving wife of Patrick Cahill. Dale is survived by her loving husband of 44 years and their three sons Philip, Andrew and Jared; her daughter-in-law Katherine Cahill, twin grandchildren Addy and Liam; and her brother George Speake of North Carolina.

Dale was a graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore County where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She also earned a Masters degree from Johns Hopkins University in Special Education and Reading. She used her God given gifts of encouragement, compassion and laughter to brighten the lives of everyone she met but especially the students and faculty of Stevens Forest Elementary School in Howard County, Md; St William of York Catholic School in Baltimore Md; and most recently at Chapelgate Christian Academy in Marriottsville, Md where her love of Jesus and service to others shined light and love into everyone’s life.

A Memorial Service is tentatively scheduled for 11:00am on Saturday, June 27, at Chapelgate Presbyterian Church, 2600 Marriottsville Rd., Marriottsville, Md. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Chapelgate Christian Academy in the names of her beloved grandchildren Addie and Liam.
