Dennis Robert Smith

On August 20, 2021, DENNIS ROBERT SMITH, beloved husband of Donna R. Smith, married on August 13, 1983; father of Shannon Smith and Kenneth Smith; stepfather of Duane Talley and his wife Felicia, and Douglas Talley and his wife Danielle; son of the late Clarence Walter Smith and Mary Sheehy Smith; brother of Kathy Smith Cadoret and her late husband Robert, Margaret Carpentier and her late husband Roger, Frank Smith and his late wife Eileen, and the late Sister Josephine Smith and Steve Smith; brother-in-law of Kathy Smith; also survived by 10 grandkids and 1 great granddaughter. 

Dennis retired from Montgomery County Public Schools, Construction Department, in 2011. He served in the Navy and did a tour in Vietnam in 1968.

Dennis will be remembered for his devotion to his family and his love for creating memories during the 4th of July and Christmas gatherings. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 2, 2021 at 11:00am at his home. Please contact Donna if you plan to attend. Thank you.
