Diane M. Hook

Diane Marie Hook (nee Geier), 63, peacefully passed on August 5, 2019. Beloved wife of John Charles Hook; mother of Brian James Hook and Ashley Diane Hook; devoted daughter of Katherine Jane (nee Peters) and Nicholas P. Geier; and dear sister of Theresa Costley Geier, Thomas M. Geier (Paula), Lynda J. Mules (Dan), Joseph N. Geier (Pam), James B. Geier (Beth), and Nicholas Geier Jr. (Brady). Diane is also survived by her much loved father-in-law Leroy Hook, many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Diane was born July 13, 1956 in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from Mount de Sales Academy in 1974 and Maryland General School of Radiology in 1976. She was employed as a Radiology Tech for 21 years at Bon Secour Hospital, and for the past the 20 years she has worked at Howard County Physical Therapy as the Patient Account Manager. Diane loved spending time with her family, cooking, and tending her vegetable and flower garden.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday August 13, 2019 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at Harry Witzke’s Funeral home in Ellicott City. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mark Church in Catonsville on August 14, 2019 at 10 am.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked memorial donations be made to Mount de Sales Academy (700 Academy Rd. Catonsville, MD 21228).

Interment is private.
