Earl E, Crizer, 81, of Ellicott City, passed away peacefully at home with his family on October 15, 2020.
Earl was born on April 15, 1939 to Earl W. and Genevieve Crizer in Baltimore. After graduating from Forest Park High School in 1957 he went on to Devry University in Chicago.
After graduation, he landed his first job at Bendix, then he finished his career at the National Institute of Health with 32 years of service.
In 1960, he met Jackie Clarke, and they wed on October 20, 1962, going on to have 4 children, Eric, Jenny, Michele and Jeff.
After retiring in 1995, Earl spent his time helping Jackie with her family daycare, starting and nurturing a firewood business, watching the Orioles and Ravens on TV and loving his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was also a proud member of The Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH).
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jackie Crizer; his aunts and uncles, Ethel McDaniel (the late James, Sr.), Larry Nickels (Carolyn); his siblings, Arthur Crizer (Jean), Shirley Jackson (the late Larry); his children, Eric Crizer, Sr. (Stephanie), Jenny Garman (Mark, Sr.) and Michele Cavey (Bob); his grandchildren, Lorrie Cubbage (Chris), Mark Garman, Jr., Eric Crizer, Jr., Jessica McCarriher (Martin), Erin Crizer, Nick Sincavage, Chase Crizer, and Nicole Cavey; his great grandchildren, Christa, Nicholas, Lily, Jace, William, Tucker, and Mia; and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Earl was predeceased by his parents, Earl W. and Genevieve Crizer; his siblings, Ken Crizer (Lu), Timothy Crizer; his son, Jeff Crizer; his grandson, Sean Crizer.
