Edward Chickanis

Edward Dupuy Chickanis, known lovingly as "Chick," ascended to the Lord Almighty on June 12th, 2024. Chick was born on January 5, 1958 in Greenwich, Connecticut, was raised in Hudson Falls, New York and moved to Maryland in 1993 to start his business and raise a family.

Chick was a man of God, an entrepreneur who spoke the language of kindness and built lasting relationships throughout his life.

He is survived by sons Christopher (Lara), Nicholas (Maby), his grandchildren Gia and Emma, and his brother George.

He is preceded in death by his mother Rose (Sabbagh) Chickanis, father Thomas Joseph Chickanis, brother Thomas John Chickanis, and son Thomas John Chickanis.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 11:00am at Church of St. Mary's-St. Paul's (11 Wall St, Hudson Falls, NY 12839). A celebration of life will take place at a yet to be determined location following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project.
