Elizabeth "Bette" Budsock, still full of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, at the age of 97 in Catonsville, MD, due to the natural progression of old age. Born on June 26, 1927, in Shenandoah, PA, Bette's life was one marked by generosity, a passion for living, and the joy she found in the simple pleasures of life.

Bette was the cherished wife of the late Joe Budsock, with whom she shared a beautiful and enduring love. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Luckasavage and Anna Callahan. Bette is survived by her loving sister, Carol St. Cyr, her devoted son Joseph, her daughter-in-law Roxanne Budsock, and her beloved grandsons Austin and Ethan Budsock, who were the light of her life.

Moving from Pittsburgh to Catonsville for her husband Joe’s job, Bette was known for her entrepreneurial spirit, having owned a local thrift store that became a gathering place for those seeking both treasures and camaraderie. Her shop was not just a business but a testament to her ability to create warmth and friendship in every enterprise she undertook.

Bette was an avid gardener, her hands often found in the soil most day during the summer months. As a gourmet cook, she took delight in preparing meals for family and friends, with each dish infused with her love and meticulous attention to detail.

Those who knew Bette would describe her as loving, kind, and generous beyond measure. She possessed an innate ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved.
