Francis C. Vacek, Jr.

Francis C. Vacek Jr. (Frank) of Ellicott City, MD. Age 82 died on September 19, 2022.  Frank was born on April 18, 1940 to Francis C. Vacek Sr. and Ruth Gertrude Vacek (Miller). 
Frank leaves behind his wife of 28 years Sonja E Vacek, his children, Mr & Mrs.Frankie Vacek III & family, Mr. & Mrs. David Vacek Sr. & family, Mr. & Mrs. William Vacek Sr. & family, Mr. & Mrs. Donnie & Debbie Shumate (Vacek) & family, Ms. Joyce Lilly & family.  Frank has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He will be missed by his little friend Gita also.
Frank enjoyed working on race cars in his earlier years but his true passion was model trains.  He worked for Williams Electric trains since 1983 repairing, designing and painting trains.  He enjoyed the Wednesday night train club meetings for many years.  He also enjoyed going to the TCA at the York FairGrounds 3 times a year.  He will be missed by all that love him.
