Geraldine Canfora Sinchak

On August 9th, 2018 GERALDINE “GERRY” CANFORA SINCHAK passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones. Though she was never too fond of her name (it’s still a family mystery why her Mother chose the name Geraldine), Gerry became a name loved by all. She was a loving wife to Tom of 56 years, mother of three, grandmother of ten and recent great-grandma. A nurse by chosen profession and devote Catholic, which makes sense given her loving and caring nature. Her family was everything to her and that extended well beyond those related to her. Gerry shared her heart, love, and sage advice to all those who came into her life. Everyone became family once they entered her home. Her laugh was beyond infectious. Gerry left behind an amazing family legacy of her husband Tom; children: Tom (Theresa), Lisa (Randy), and Christina (David); grandchildren: Josh, Nicholas, Tara, Michael, Matthew, Erik, Evan, Chloe, Joshua, and Katelyn Law; and great-grandsons: Thomas and Michael; dear sisters of Mary Stramella and Margie Russo (Marion) and sister-in-law of Clare Canfora; adoring aunt of many nieces and nephews, and other “adopted” extended family. All of those whose lives she touched will not be the same without her.
