Gordon Henry Darmsteadt

Gordon H. Darmsteadt of Ellicott City passed away on January 9, 2019 at the age of 86.  He was born on June 15, 1932 in Baltimore, MD.  He was the son of Margaret and Henry Darmsteadt.  Husband of Carmella M. Darmsteadt nee Tringali, his wife of 58 years.  He was the father of Margaret D. Weaver and her husband Salvatore, and Philip Darmsteadt and his wife Brenda. Grandfather to Victoria R. Pivovarnick and her husband Robert, Christen M. Weaver and her fiancé Brendan Biondi, and Brian N. Darmsteadt. Great Grandfather to Logan Robert Pivovarnick.

He served in the U.S. Army.  Graduate of Loyola College of Maryland. He worked for the Department of the Army as a civilian employee and retired on December 1, 1989.  Following his civil service retirement, he worked for H&R Block as a tax consultant and in real estate for O’Connor Piper Flynn and Caldwell Banker.
