Harrison James Carr

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Harry Carr, who left us on July 29, 2024 at the age of ten. A recent graduate of the fourth grade at Fulton Elementary School, Harry was a light of joy and hope in the lives of his family, friends, classmates and caregivers. 

Harry's resilience despite his many health challenges was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was exuberant, kind, curious, and told hilarious jokes. He loved Thomas the Tank Engine and covered his house in his toy train tracks. He bonded with friends and family over games of Roblox, especially Rainbow Friends. He loved puzzles, learning math and spelling, playing in the water, blowing bubbles, and riding roller coasters at Hershey Park. 

Though his time with us was brief, Harry's impact was profound. His infectious smile, boundless energy, and pure heart will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of joy and innocence, reminding us that life is beautiful even when it is hard, especially when it is hard, and that we should cherish every moment with our loved ones. 

Harry is survived by his loving parents Ryan and Brittney; sister Evelyn; grandparents Cara Moulds, Jim Beck, Yvonne and William Vinson; great-grandmother Lee Moulds; and a community that will always remember his light. 

Visitation services for Harry will be held Friday, August 2nd, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 3rd, at 11am. In honor of Harry's legacy, we invite donations to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
