Helen Marie Leahy

Helen Marie Leahy (nee Higgins) born Sept 22, 1936 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of John David Leahy Sr of 59 years.  She is also survived by her three children and ten grandchildren; John David Leahy Jr (son) and Pam Golden (significant other) and his children Alison, Elizabeth, John, James and Luke; Eileen (daughter) and Bill Voigt (son-in-law) and their children Andrew, Abigail and Benjamin; Suzanne (daughter) and Mike Knudsen (son-in-law) and their children Alexandra and Hope.  

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent in memory of Helen Leahy to Mt. Aviat Academy, 399 Childs Road, PO Box 85, Childs, MD 21916 where she volunteered, or the Benevolent Care Fund c/o Charlestown Retirement Community, Philanthropy Office, 719 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228.
