Jaqueline G. Marks, 75, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away last week in Columbia, MD. Jackie was born in Ashland, Oregon, and earned her nursing degree at the College of the Desert in Desert Hot Springs, California. As a young women, she moved to Los Angeles, where she worked in the ED of LA County General Hospital while studying towards advancing her degree at Cal State LA. She then worked as an ICU nurse at George Washington Hospital in Washington ,D.C, where she met her husband of almost 52 years, DR. William Andrew Marks. She is survived by her husband , two children Samantha and Todd, seven grandchildren , and sister Mrs. Joy Bausch of Helena, Montana. Jackie loved swimming, reading, and riding her horses at Marriottsvillle Ridge Farm with her friends.
At this time, there are no formal memorial services planned. However, a gathering is scheduled for this coming summer at Assateague Island. Specific details regarding the date and location will be shared as they become available.
