Jeanne Marie Cooper, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2024, in her home, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Jeanne, born on September 17, 1949, in Baltimore, was a beacon of light and courage throughout her 75 years of life.

Jeanne’s early years were marked by the joy and camaraderie of growing up in a close-knit family. She graduated from Seton High School, were she cultivated a love of learning. Jeanne’s nurturing spirit led her to a fulfilling career as a Data Entry Clerk at the Social Security Administration, where she served with dedication for 18 years, and formed life long friendships. Her work ethic and commitment to helping others were evident in every task she undertook.

Beyond her professional life, Jeanne embraced the roles of homemaker and caregiver with unmatched devotion. For 47 years, she created a warm and welcoming home for her husband, Stephen, their daughter, Natalie, and her mother, Felixena. Jeanne’s love extended to her sisters, Ann, Mary, Celine, and Theresa O’Neill, who shared in the joys and sorrows of life together. Her affection also touched the lives of her nieces and nephews, Joseph, Gerard and Robert Hooe, Mary Zawodny, John and Anthony Pindell, Randy and Jessica Furr, as well as as great-nieces and nephews, Mikael, Maria, young Robert, Christian, Sarah, Meg, Nicholas, Zachary, Christopher, and Joshua.

Jeanne found solace and rejuvenation in her walks along the beach, where she collected seashells and cherished the beauty of nature. Her hands were rarely still, as she was always immersed in projects to enhance and beautify her home. Jeanne enjoyed working in her garden. Her yard was a testament to her love for the earth and its bounty, a place where flowers and plants flourish under here care.

Jeanne will be remembered as a woman of deep faith. She lived her beliefs with every act of kindness and every gesture of support. She offered a listening ear and a helping hand to anyone in need. Her selfless nature was a gift to all, and her courage in the face of adversity was an inspiration. Jeanne’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and unwavering strength. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of her family and friends, who take comfort in knowing that her spirit will continue to guide them.
