Joan C. Mellendick

Joan C. Mellendick, age 89, of Catonsville, MD passed away on August 6, 2023.  Joan was born in Baltimore, MD on May 27, 1934.  She was the wife of the late John M. Mellendick, Sr.  She was predeceased by her parents, John Cyford and Mildred Cyford. 

Joan is survived by her children, John M. Mellendick, Jr. (Donna), and Deborah Kelley (Keith).  In addition to her children, “Nana” is mourned by two grandchildren Kevan M. Mellendick (Amanda), and JT Mellendick (Morgan).  She is also survived by two loving great grandchildren, Jean and Juliet.

A private celebration of life is planned.  In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
