John O. Jenkins

One of my fondest memories as a kid was going over to my Aunt Anita Jenkins and Uncle John's place. We got in the car with my dad and drove to Baltimore. Being an O's fan, I wanted to know if we were going to go by Memorial Stadium. They responded "no". We ended up going in the stadium instead and I saw my first in-person, professional sporting event.

Uncle John was probably the most intelligent man I've ever known. His sense of humor was unique, yet brilliant, clever, and funny. But he was also an incredibly kind man, who along with my aunt, was very generous. He was also really cool in a unique, but genuine way. I have missed him. I was saddened to learn of his passing this morning. I will miss him all the more.
