Joseph Clark Obituary

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Matthew Clark Sr., born October 27th 1959. Joe died on Thursday, May 15th at 4pm as a result of a cardiac arrest. His passing was peaceful, surrounded by music and the loved ones he cherished.

Joe was a local business owner, a father of 4 and an avid fan of The Beatles, Bob Dylan and many other great artists from the 60’s and 70’s.

When Joe wasn’t running his business, you might have found him strumming a guitar, playing the harmonica or attending a live concert. He was a talented and passionate musician and lover of music.

Joe is survived by his mother, Mary Clark, brother, Dave Clark, sister Ann Shilling, his four children and three grandchildren: eldest son, Matthew “Joe” Clark and his wife, Erin, eldest daughter, Katie Hershey, daughter Mary Clark and son Michael Clark. Joe’s grandchildren are Elizabeth, Ben and Abby Hershey, children of Katie.

Other mourners include Joe’s cousins Jane Andrews, Kirsten Andrews Woelper, and Larry Lear as well as many other Hilditch cousins, dear friends Steve Choyce and Johnny Fisher, The Shilling family: Rick, Sam, Ben and Allison as well as Rachel Clark.

He joins his father Joseph P. Clark and his beloved Aunt Jul Andrews in Heaven.
