Kathryn N. Mahlin

Kathryn Nimmo Mahlin, was born in Atlanta, GA, in 1958  and passed away in Columbia, MD from COVID-19 on May 25, 2022.  She was loved and supported by family, and friends, including her father Edward, mother Kathryn, sister Leila, brother Edward, nephews Nathan and Benjamin, brother-in-law Steve, sisters-in-law Kendra and Lynne, nieces Milica and Steph, cousins Harriett, Mindy, Ruby, Uncle Roy, Maryland friends Pat, Susan, Anna, Hal, Montrae,  Sharon, and Vicky. She loved her day program at Humanim , and her residential support services were through the ARC of Howard County. She liked traveling to places like Europe and Disney World. She liked to dance, text with friends, and search the internet.

To honor her life, please be kind, listen, and respect each other, especially when we are different in thought, appearance, or choices. She would want you to enjoy sweet potatoes, pumpkin, zebras, Minnie Mouse, and Def Leppard. She would appreciate kindness shown when people wear masks during COVID times. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Arc of Howard County or Humanim in memory of Kathryn.
