Lillian N. Kallas, 81 of Ellicott City, Maryland passed away on December 10, 2024 after progression from Alzheimer's disease.
Lil was born on January 19, 1943 to James and Ruth Scannell in Catonsville, Maryland. After graduating from Catonsville High School Lil went on to work for the Baltimore Area Council, Boy Scouts of America for a 56 year career. Lil’s dedication and service to Scouting left an indelible mark on countless lives, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who follow her.
In her retirement in 2018, Lil enjoyed travel, gardening, driving her Chevy Camaro and dining out with friends.
Lil will be laid to rest next to her parents at Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
A memorial will be held to honor Lil's remarkable life on Thursday, December 19, 2024 starting with a memorial visitation from 5:30 - 6:30 PM and a service beginning at 6:30 PM at Harry H. Witzke Family Funeral Home.
