Margaret Mary Agnes Dill Judy (Martie), wife of William E. Judy, Jr. (Bill), of Ellicott City, MD, died peacefully on Tuesday afternoon, July 23, 2024 at the age of 73. Martie was born on October 7, 1950 to J. Irving Dill and Alma S. Dill in Baltimore, MD.

She was preceded in death by both her parents, and her brother John S. Dill. In addition to her beloved husband, Martie is survived by her son Brian J. Judy and daughter-in-law Samantha L. Judy, along with her two sisters Sr. Therese Dill, SND and Mary Alma Sullivan, brother-in-law Edward A. Sullivan, sister-in-law Lydia J. Scenna and nieces Shana T. Fabio, Mara E. Farr, Shannon R. Toback and nephew Loki M. Baker.

Martie graduated from Maryvale Preparatory School in 1968 and received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Loyola University Maryland in 1972. Her early post graduate years were spent working at C&P Telephone Company where she met Bill. They were married in 1979 and settled in Ellicott City where they raised their son.

Martie’s love of travel began with a semester abroad in Germany during her college years and continued throughout her life. A loving and loyal wife, mother, aunt and friend, Martie enjoyed making people laugh, hosting parties and getting lost in a book while at the beach. Regardless of her location, she was most happy when surrounded by loved ones.
