Mary Margaret von Paris

Mary M. von Paris, 95, wife of the late George H. von Paris, Sr., passed away peacefully Friday morning, January 8, 2021, at the Heartlands Retirement Community in Ellicott City, MD.

She was born May 25, 1925, to George and Mary Wachter in Baltimore, MD. Mary graduated from Catholic High School. After graduation, she went to work for The Catholic Review until she married George H. von Paris on October 26, 1946.

Mary was a devoted mother of George H. von Paris, Jr. (Diane) and Mark J. von Paris, Sr. (Meg); cherished grandmother of Jamie Lee Cain (Tommie), Matthew George von Paris, Mark J. von Paris, Jr. and Meredith McGovern von Paris. Step-grandmother of Nick Harclerode (Amanda) and Austin Harclerode. Great step-grandmother of Chase Harclerode.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of the Resurrection of Ellicott City.
