Meinun Chen

Mei Nun Chen, age 92, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 16, 2025. Mei was born on April 8, 1933, in Fuzhou, China.

Mei’s selfless nature was evident from a young age, as she consistently put the needs of others before her own. This quality followed her throughout her life and became a cornerstone of her character. She was hardworking, generous, and virtuous, and she always found something to laugh about, even when times were tough.

In search of a brighter future, Mei Nun immigrated to the United States to accompany her children and be close with her grandchildren. In her downtime, she enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, and playing mahjong.

She is survived by her devoted children, Chun Sheng Wang, Yi Huo Wang, Yi Long Wang, Mei Ying Wang, Mei Yin Wang, Cui Yun Wang, and Yi Mei Wang, each of whom carries a part of her indomitable spirit. Her legacy further extends to her 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished deeply.

As we bid farewell to Mei Nun Chen, we celebrate a life lived with generosity and wisdom. She was the heart of our family, a friend to many, and a guiding light to all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories we share and the love we continue to hold for her.

Though we mourn her passing, we take solace in knowing that Mei Nun’s journey was one of fulfillment. She experienced the profound joy of seeing her family grow and succeed, and she left this world knowing she was deeply loved. Her legacy of compassion will continue to inspire and guide us for generations to come.

As the sun sets on her remarkable life, we remember Mei Nun Chen with hearts full of gratitude. We honor her by living the lessons she taught us: to be selfless in our love and to find humor in dark times. Even though Mei Nun’s life has come to an end, the impact she’s had on our lives will never fade. Her presence and influence will live on in the people that loved her.

Rest in peace, Mei Nun. Your light will never dim in the hearts of those you touched.
