Michael Edward Morris

Michael Edward Morris (Mike), age 53 of Ellicott City, MD passed away suddenly on Monday, July 20, 2020. Mike was born on June 25, 1967 and is survived by his adoring son Anthony, his beloved mother Patricia, his devoted father Robert (Louise), his loving brother Danny (Megan), his nephews Brayden, Nick and Eddie, and his extended family Jeanine, Julien-Pierre, Jean-Philippe, Nana, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

After graduating from Oakland Mills High School in 1985, Mike attended UMBC to study history. He served six years in the Maryland Army National Guard (1st Battalion, 175 Infantry, 29th Infantry Division), and was awarded Soldier of the Year in 1987. Mike enjoyed a successful career in sales, and graced his friends and family with his infectious smile and larger-than-life personality. Throughout his life, Mike had an amazing ability to make people laugh with his quick wit, charm and enthusiasm. He was passionate about politics, history and sports, but mostly loved spending time with his “little man” Anthony. Mike was a devoted and loving father to Anthony, who was his inspiration for everything in his life.
