Mohamed Maghari Obituary

On September 9, 2024, Mohamed “Mo” R. Maghari passed away suddenly. He was born on May 12, 1960 in Kuwait City after his family fled their homeland of Palestine. After completing his education, he collected his few belongings and immigrated to the United States. His determination was evident as he worked several jobs to achieve success in his new world. After years of hard work, it paid off with him becoming a proud business owner. Just as importantly, he eventually married his wife, Janet, and had three amazing children, Jasmine, Nadya, and Ramsey.

Mo will always be remembered for his dedication and perseverance through life’s obstacles. He also cared deeply for his children, always striving to provide them with a great education and a happy life. Lastly, he always had a passion for Palestinian rights and never lost hope that Palestine would one day be free.

He is survived by Janet, Jasmine, Nadya, and the rest of the Maghari family across the world. He was preceded in death by his son, Ramsey.

The burial will take place on Saturday, September 14th at 11am at Mount View Cemetery in Marriottsville, MD. There will be a subsequent memorial luncheon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mo’s honor to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund at https://www.pcrf.net/
