Moira Yok Fan Lee, wife of Marshall Lee, died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 25. 2025 at home.
She was the daughter of Shiu Hung Wong and Lai Yin Ko now deceased. She is survived by two sisters, Cecilia W. Cheung and Yulanda Yu. Wong. She was predeceased by brothers, George, Douglas and Alan Chi Wai Wong.
Moira graduated from Catholic High School in Hong Kong. She was sponsored as an immigrant by her sister, Cecilia of Ft. Washington, MD in 1963.
Moira married Marshall Lee on November 8, 1964 at Grace & St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 707 Park Ave., Baltimore, MD 21201
After marriage, she was a housewife until her sons were older. She then went to work for the Howard County Public School System spending most of her career as an elementary school cafeteria manager retiring in 1990.
She is survived by two sons, Martin Kar Fai and Matthew Kar Chung Lee and three grandsons from Matthew and Amy Strazzella Lee (deceased). The grandsons are: Chase Matteson, Tanner Jaxson, and Gavin Henry known affectionately to Grandma as the “boys”.
There will be a Celebration of Life on March 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., Bethel Baptist Church, 4261 Bethel Overlook, Ellicott City, MD 21043
